Friday Favorites: All About Me & Tori

So, I really, really luff Tori Amos. I weave in & out of Tori-listening obsession, but she is always The One, you know? The one Big Musical Priestess who sings my soul. I eased into a Tori phase during Blogathon, and then I found myself singing Take to the Sky in the shower today, totally in an Ally McBeal way. Like as in it's my theme song. It's a simpler, cheesier Tori, but it floods me with 19-year-old Heidi mojo. Fiery, punk red hair mojo. It's good stuff. Her music has been a guide through deep darks and wild creativity. I saw her perform live once, and cried.

Weirdly, I have some newer albums in my iTunes library but haven't listened to them. My mission today is to bathe in new-to-me Tori and get that batshit-weirdo crazy fairy magic goin' on.
