Friday Favorites and The Esse Diem Book Meme

So it happens that on a particular Thursday (this very one, in fact) the delightful Elizabeth Gaucher and the magnificent Doug Imbrogno had a brainchild of a book meme. It happens also, dear bleaders, that this meme involves the 'favorite' theme on which your narrator muses on Fridays.

I give you me, with my favorite book: Good Omens, by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett.

Actually, it was simply the closest bunch of bound paper with the name 'Neil Gaiman' embossed upon it, as any would do. It's hard to pick a favorite by the best storyteller who writes my exact favorite blend of darkness and whimsy and myth and fancy. By humorous happenstance, I'd just purchased Fragile Things, a short story collection, but it's the Kindle version. Anyway, Good Omens is at least in my top three Gaimanthings.

If you'd like to play along, visit Esse Diem's meme post here, and post a self portrait like hers, peeking out over your most beloved story.

Also, enjoy Friday happening on a Thursday night with me if you'd like. I've just noticed that my hair matches the TARDIS so I think my time-bending powers are infallible.

    1. Everybody loves a punk in librarian glasses with a great book. Well, that's my theory:)

I've been buying eBooks like a crack addict. It was lovely to think and honor a great paperback.
