Clipping my hair super short is the most cleansing thing. The softness and lightness are just comforting. It makes me feel cozy, which is odd. Maybe because I think it looks cute with scarves and hats. I'm kind of over having bleached crazy hair for now, too. It's good to let it rest for a while without dyes. There's a pinkish purple tint still but it's cute. Looks like I dusted my hair with color.

The biggest motivation was that my skin's been really irritated, so I've been daydreaming about chopping off my hair and scrubbing my scalp really well. It was absolutely as good as I'd hoped. I put aloe gel on after the shower too. I've found that the key to my itchy winter skin is aloe gel mixed with Dermasil lotion, and a little bit of Benadryl cream. My face is seriously pissed off at me for all the corn-syrup-sweetened candy I've eaten since Halloween.

I'd never heard of Dermasil, but I picked it up at the dollar store when I saw that it's cruelty-free. It's rich but gentle and not too heavy. My skins not too dry even in cold weather. It's just hypersensitive.

So my skin and my hair are happy with my makeunder. Softness is yum.
